**NOTE buy the velvet that is made of Silk, Rayon, or Acetate-Rayon. This is
more expensive by the yard, but it is worth it. DO NOT use the cheap velvet (nylon or Polyester)

• Heat your Iron between Linen And Cotton  (5 or 6 depending on your Iron)
• Heat your Glue gun.
• Measure your table or any other surface you want to use the velvet on.  In this case we will make a table runner.
• After you have cut the length you will use, set aside.
• Cut a scrap of velvet to practice.
• Take the swirl stamp.
• Put it RUBBER SIDE UP on your work area.
• Take your scrap piece of Velvet. Lay fabric right side down against the rubber image.
• Lightly mist the back of the fabric.
• Press the iron to the fabric. AVOID USING THE PART OF THE IRON WITH THE HOLES!!!! ***Use the lower part of the iron...
• DO NOT move the iron (Image will smear)hold it in one place. Count to 15-20 and lift the iron carefully. If you are not sure, count 5 more.                                                                                               *** Bigger images might require re-position of the iron, but you must not move the fabric!
• Lift your iron and there you have it!!! A beautiful image!!

***NOTA: Compre la tela de Terciopelo que sea de Seda, Rayón o combinación de Acetato-Rayón para mejores resultados.  NO utilice el Terciopelo de Nylon o Poliéster.

1)Caliente su Plancha entre las temperaturas de Algodón y Lino (5 ó 6 dependiendo de su plancha)
   Corte Un Pedazo pequeño de la tela de Terciopelo para que practique primero y ajuste las temperaturas
de la plancha si es necesario.

2) Prepare su Sello de Goma (preferiblemente de imagen sólida o con pocos detalles)
Póngalo sobre una superficie dura (como la mesa) con la Goma hacia ARRIBA.

3)  Tome su pedazo de tela de práctica con el Terciopelo hacia ABAJO tocando la goma del sello.
  Rocíe la tela con up poco de agua (preferiblemente en una Botella de atomizador suave).

4) Proceda a poner la plancha caliente sobre la tela (debe estar viendo el revés en este momento).
SIN MOVER LA PLANCHA, cuente unos 10 segundos.  Si la imagen es grande, Levante la plancha con cuidado y caliente las otras partes hasta que complete el dibujo.

5) Depués de hacer esto, levante  la plancha y la tela...¡Verá una Bella Imagen Estampada en el Terciopelo!
  Ahora, después de haber practicado, está lista para proyectos mayores.

Sugerencias para proyectos:

Mantel de repisa, Manteles de Mesa, Faldas de vestir, chalecos, almohadas para el Sofa o la cama, para forrar cajas de regalo...¡y muchas otras cosas!

Recuerde:
Utilice imágenes o dibujos que sean sólidos o con muy poco detalle.  Los dibujos muy pequeños tienden a perderse en la tela.  Escoja Imágenes de buen tamaño y que esten bien cortada; el exeso de goma alrededor del diseño hara que su Estampado no quede bien.
**Importante** Deje enfriar el sello entre aplicaciones.  Esto evitará que se aruine su sello o se desprenda el dibujo.  Por eso también es importante la temperatura de la plancha.  Debe ser adecuado sin ser Extremadamente caliente!  ¡¡Practique Primero!!

Decore su Tela:
Con Pinturas de tela como "Tulip" para darle dimensión al dibujo, o resaltar varias partes de su creación.
Utilice perlas, pequeñas piedras o cristalitos para añadir un toque delicado y bello a su proyecto.

Here are some tips on what stamps you can use do make this project (besides mine! LOL!)

• ** Bold images are mostly used for this project.
• ** Open line ones can be used (like the large poinsettia). Just make sure it is a simple NOT TOO DETAILED image.
• **Very small images tend to get lost.
• **Choose stamps that are very well trimmed (excess rubber might show). You can trim them closer with an exacto knife if you want.
• Try: Lightly Ink your stamp with gold pigment ink. Proceed to stamp with the iron. Practice first to make sure this is the look you want.
• Try: Use Gold dimensional Fabric Paint to add some accents to the project.
• Glitter Dimensional Paint looks very elegant too!
